we took a picnic and went to Bodiam castle, sat on the riverbank, watched the steam trains go by and the ducks waddling past - read the daily mail cover to cover on the royal wedding and vic read his book.a gust of wind took my sun shade (otherwise known as vics golf umbrella) into the river - vic had to climb down the bank to retrieve it, got stung in the process by nettles, and was not amused. ha ha.
