saved these lovely wooden bricks from going
to the charity shop (thanks Amy!) because I thought I could do something with them, like decopatch them for instance. then I found this gorgeous (was rusty) old key in a junk shop and as decopatch paper goes round anything, thought I would see how it turned out. might make a nice housewarming gift with some ribbon tied on it or a 21st token (do people still get a key to their parents front door at 21?) my mum and dad are thinking about giving me a key to their house, and I am 56!!
Anyway it was fun to do, and so now when next we go to a boot fair I will be looking for old chunky keys to decopatch.
