Surprise Saturday

Went to meet vic in battle this morning as he took some unexpected time off. Drove to Hastings and visited the quirky shops in Norman road, wellards being my favourite. Had scone and coffee in a trendy shop, walked along The seafront where the waves were crashing around on the beach, quite exhilarating. Called in to see ivy and then back to battle - vic went to work and I went to visit the lovely wool shop there - bought this gorgeous Japanese yarn called noro made of silk and mohair. Just started on more squares to make a throw !!
