Went to Seth and isaacs school today - open day- they were so proud to show their work - they are inspirational

Day 16- bottle

  Went to the fridge and this is all we had to photograph.  just noticed it was a thwaites beer!!! How funny is that

Day 15 - from my window

Looked out the front window and this is what I saw- but I couldn't get the photo found the right way. Had a days leave today came back from mums ...

Day 14- edible

Staying at mums this weekend - andy and Jane came over, they went to a wedding yesterday and brought these cupcakes for me and mum x very edible

Day 13 -4 o'clock

Having a clear out today and found this clock - put in a new battery to see if it works and it does! Checked it at 4pm and its keeping time.

Have stuff for charity shop, loads for rubbish bin and recycling ... And more space!

I had to google smooth today as apart from baby's skin I couldn't think of anything! Came across Santana on you tube with one of my fave songs - smooth ! A real summer sound

We went to the big cat sanctuary today and Peggy posed for this photo inside the reception area ...good fun!!

day 8 - path

this was one to make you think.  tried taking a picture of the path to my front door but its too dark and came out black. not very interesting anyway!

then I googled 'path' in images and came across this.. perfect.  its about choosing gratitude which is something ive been reading about recently in 'the secret' and the 'power' both brilliant books which can literally change your life (as long as you remember to follow the advice!) and ones I keep having to re-read.

day 7 - where we are

this is the only photo I can post today as we only had our mobiles and this is the only picture that could be sent via email! left ipod at home, charging.  we are of course at bodiam castle, sitting by the river having a picnic.  apparently murray won Wimbledon today.

Day 6-favourite smell

My Estée Lauder beautiful perfume - only got body lotion at the moment as bottle has run out x must get more soon

Day 5 - love

At the moment I am loving crochet ... Made this heart (by accident) it was meant to be a square, but I love it. Not sure I will be able to make another one ...

day 4 - red, white and blue

American Independence Day today -we celebrated at MEH today with banners, flags and cakes. I did have a quiz on America planned but couldn't compete with Wimbledon on the TV !!

Day 3 - cold

Spotted an ice cream van in trinity street, Hastings today on my way to the knitting shop. Is that cold enough?

Lovely day shopping and coffee with ivy and vic back to Ivy's for tea, Neil and lesley , hb, mark and baby now home for supper ...

In this case garden shoes outside the back door ready for slipping into for a spot of, well, gardening!

Day 30 - handwriting

this is the last day of the june photo challenge, and its been fun.  today I was going to photograph my grandma Beatrice's handwriting but couldn't find it at the time of looking, but found this instead and as we were off to see Hannah Beatrice and her baby I thought this would be appropriate....

cant wait to print out the june photos on instagram- its been a brilliant month- summer arrived at last, baby Jude arrived (at last!) great music around and generally been a good four weeks...loving life and appreciating everything in it.

not my favourite colour exactly, but useful and when I look around I seem to have a lot of it...

Day 27 - into the sun

 

vic usually brings home the papers from the salon for me to do the crosswords, the mail which I can do quite quickly and the sun - which has cryptic and normal clues and takes a bit longer but I enjoy the challenge.

Day 26- empty

 

 

the sorry state of the petrol gauge after driving to Essex to see my mum today!! soon had it all filled up again for the journey home. lovely day, went to barleylands (for a crafting fix) vic went to the driving range and we had lunch out with mum

Day 25 -sharp

 

for this photo, I decided to take a snap of my favourite scissors, very special and very sharp fiskars ones ive had for ever and use for all my crafting-couldn't be without them (even though I have a drawer full of scissors all sizes and sorts, these are the best)

Day 24 negative space

 

had to look up what negative space was - interesting concept.  this is just a sprig of rosemary on a sheet of white paper, altered in phonto.

this could only be one photo for me, (almost) my whole family at Hannah and Marks wedding, this day last year.  its their 1st wedding anniversary today and they have spent it mostly in the maternity unit awaiting an addition to their own little family....
